This is a brief description of my VTOL build of ZOHD Altus FPV aircraft. All components are designed in FreeCAD.
Components
I bought Altus in PNP version + one more stock 2204-1870KV motor. I replaced stock ESCs with LITTLEBEE SPRING 30A 2-6sESC.
As FC I used MatekSys F405-VTOL. GPS + compass I used MG-A01 GNSS Module ( link to manufacturer ).
For motor gimbal I used PTK-7455 servos.
Instead of stock propellers I used Nazgul 6043 6x4x3 6inch Tri-blade Propellers.
Ball bearings for motor gimbals I used 4*7*2.5mm/ MR 74 2Z. Inside ball- bearing I used 4*2.5mm carbon tube.
For steering rod I used 1.5mm carbon rod + some standard MP JET servo accessories.
Details can be seen here and here.
